The Alliance for Higher Education in Prison is expanding the Higher Education in Prison Reading Project. Since the early months of 2019, the Alliance has invited members of the higher education in prison community to read along, using weekly sessions on social media and “book giveaways” to support participation. We are now expanding the project and hope to bring even more participants and programs into this reading community.

The Alliance is currently supporting 20 programs participating in the Higher Education in Prison Reading Project and will be sending over 100 copies of our upcoming book selection, Freedom is a Constant Struggle: Ferguson, Palestine, and the Foundations of a Movement  By: Angela Y. Davis, throughout the country.
