Mary Evans, Business of Media Major, attended and graduated from Antioch College by being awarded a full ride scholarship while incarcerated. Mary is now using her platform to provide space for underrepresented communities with her NPR Affiliate radio show, “Re Entry Stories”. She is the co-founder of The Journalism Lab Dayton and the Station Assistant at Jazzy 88.9 FM WCSU, Central State University.

Mary joined P2P in early 2022, completed Cohort 24 and is a mentor. She is a graduate and Tribe Ambassador for the Light-to Life Womxn’s Cohort. Mary was just awarded the Bob and Norma Ross Leadership Award by the Dayton Ohio NAACP Chapter.
