With the ability for incarcerated students to utilize Pell Grants for postsecondary education returning in 2023, and current opportunities continuing to grow, colleges and corrections partners may be looking for additional resources to support students beyond the classroom, including recruitment and enrollment, financial aid information and application assistance, persistence and completions, as well as supporting formerly incarcerated students on campus as they continue their education journey.

Please join the Vera Institute of Justice and the Council for Opportunity in Education for a discussion about TRIO programs and what they offer, how TRIO programs are currently being utilized to support system-impacted students and how TRIO programs can partner with colleges and corrections partners to serve currently and formerly incarcerated students.
