The Alliance for Higher Education Prison is hosting a series of co-learning opportunities for Second Chance Pell Programs. Each session will be hosted by colleagues from across the country who were part of the first round of the Second Chance Pell Program and/or previously have run a higher education in prison program.
All workshop sessions will be peer-facilitated by colleagues who were part of the first round of Second Chance Pell (SCP) and/or who have previously administered a higher education in prison program prior to receiving SCP. The Alliance for Higher Education in Prison is hosting the series and all questions can be directed to: alliance@higheredinprison.org. Contact information for each of the session leaders and participants (with permission) will be shared following the workshop.
Each session will include: tips and lessons learned, ideas about what presenters would have done differently or will continue to do the same, and recommendations that they wish someone had told them when they started. Each session will also include opportunities for participants to ask and have questions answered.
Note: Registration is required for each individual workshop.
