The New York University Prison Education Program is seeking a dedicated Associate Director, Communications and Development to join their team. This individual will serve as a lead member of the Prison Education Program (PEP) team.

The Associate Director, Communications and Development will: 

• Conceptualize communications and press strategy.
• Develop and lead all communication efforts, including building and maintaining program web site, designing newsletters, and organizational and funding reports.
• Manage grant account budgets and prepare financial reports for strategic development.
• Lead documentation projects, coordinate student workers for media representation, and create new digital and print content.
• Create, implement and direct volunteer program for graduate and undergraduate students.
• Conceptualize and plan new special events and workshops at Wallkill Correctional Facility and NYU Washington Square.
