The consultant will work with our team to synthesize our completed literature review, along with materials gathered through site visits and stakeholder interviews, to create a comprehensive, accessible, and user-friendly resource. This includes developing a clear content framework, organizing findings into actionable guidance, and preparing a companion presentation that communicates key insights and recommendations. All work must reflect and center the voices of lived experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze all existing source materials, including interview transcripts, site visit notes, and the literature review.
  • Develop a detailed outline and thematic content framework for the toolkit. Organize and synthesize content to ensure logical flow, accessibility, and alignment with intended audiences.
  • Draft and revise toolkit content in collaboration with project leads, subject matter experts, and peer advisors.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure the final content authentically reflects lived experience.
  • Prepare toolkit content for handoff for the layout and design process.
  • Participate in weekly virtual check-ins and provide timely progress updates.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience developing toolkits, curricula, or comparable resource projects. Strong systems thinking and process-design skills.
  • Exceptional synthesis and writing abilities. Familiarity with peer support, behavioral health, or reentry-related fields (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Deliverables
