Under the direction of the Prison Education Project (PEP) Program Director, the Site Administrator designs, implements, and evaluates academic programming at all phases of the PEP academic experience at the prison campus, including coursework, pre-college programming, and student support programming. The person in this position ensures student success in PEP by providing high-quality faculty and tutor training, developing academic resources, creating new academic opportunities for students through internal and external partnership, and evaluating PEP’s existing academic programs in order to modify when needed to improve student outcomes. This position ensures consistent, high-quality academic outcomes across PEP’s campuses. While the Site Administrator is the primary site coordinator at an assigned prison campus, they will also engage with programs at additional campuses through a combination of teaching, advising, and student support.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
In collaboration with PEP Director, coordinate the design, implementation, and evaluation of all programming for the Prison Education Project at assigned campus
Logistical and administrative duties:
Develop and expand academic collaborations between PEP and both on-campus and community resources to enhance the academic experience of PEP students.
Perform other duties as assigned.
