The registration form and ticket payment portal are two separate steps. Steps one and two must be completed in order for your registration to be confirmed.

Step 1: Registration

Complete your registration form.

Step 2: Ticket

Purchase your conference ticket.

Step 3: Hotel

The 13th National Conference for Higher Education in Prison (NCHEP) will be held at the Grand Hyatt at Buckhead in Atlanta, GA. Unfortunately the room block at the hotel that offered discount rates has sold out. We have researched alternative hotels within walking distance of the Grand Hyatt that you may want to explore.

If you receive financial aid for a hotel room or conference ticket, the Alliance will purchase those items.

You will not be reimbursed for them.

  • All attendees, no matter their financial aid status, should complete Step One.
  • The NCHEP Planning Team understands that confirmation of your financial aid status is key to completing these steps.
  • Therefore, we are moving up the notification date and will be releasing financial aid award information as soon as possible.
  • The financial aid evaluation process is being led by currently incarcerated people and will prioritize formerly incarcerated participants.
  • All currently incarcerated people will not need to pay for a ticket.

Step Two: Purchase your Ticket

Conference registration is $350 ($200 for students) and includes some meals and three days of presentations.

You may purchase tickets on behalf of others. If you are buying multiple tickets, you must assign each ticket to an attendee and that person must individually complete Step One: Registration, as it asks for personal contact and identification information.
