Johns Hopkins University is seeking an Administrative Coordinator who will provide administrative support and perform general office management duties necessary in the efficient operation of an office or program. The responsibilities of this role require significant collaboration and coordination with others. The American Prison Writing Archive (prisonwitness.org) is the first fully searchable digital archive of non-fiction essays and poetry by people who are impacted by the prison system writing about their experience inside US prisons and jails today. The APWA welcomes applications from conscientious and compassionate candidates for a full-time, hybrid Administrative Coordinator position to assist with processing and responding to submissions and inquiries, as well as contributing to a collaborative team broadening the reach and scope of the Archive. This is a grant-funded position, with funding secured for 2 years from hiring date, and possibility of renewal following.

Education and Experience Equivalency

If permitted, equivalencies will follow these guidelines: JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis.
