Formerly Incarcerated College Graduates Network: Project Support Specialist Postgraduate Internship

The Formerly Incarcerated College Graduates Network (FICGN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes the education and empowerment of formerly incarcerated people through a collective community. We have over 1,500 members in nearly all 50 U.S. states and several countries who are formerly incarcerated and have achieved higher education attainment, working in a variety of fields in the public and private sectors. FICGN unites system-impacted scholars to use their collective knowledge, resources, and lived-expertise to challenge systems of oppression and to support one another personally and professionally.

The FICGN Postgraduate Internship was created for graduating seniors and recent college graduates (up to two years removed) who wish to develop and apply their professional skills while building a portfolio of successful projects in their respective fields of interest. The internship emphasizes the development of foundational and specific technical skills that enhance the career readiness and employability of rising and recent justice system-impacted graduates.
