ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Support the integration of all JBM team members by increasing awareness of accessible resources, which encompass company-provided, non-governmental, and government support services, through community-building initiatives.
  • Provide personalized, one-on-one, confidential support to fair chance team members, developing tailored development plans and fostering accountability.
  • Assist front-line managers/supervisors in effectively navigating challenges and approaching each team member's unique journey with an open-minded perspective.
  • Aid in collaborating with HR and management to promote a healthy community environment, coordinating with external resources as needed to support team members.
  • Identify systemic issues affecting multiple team members and assist with developing strategic plans to address key areas for improvement.
  • Strengthen partnerships with existing employers and establish relationships with new partners to enhance opportunities for our team members.
  • Promote wellness-related activities to support the physical and mental well-being of our employees.

THE CHALLENGE

  • Balancing relationships with high-impact results in a fast-paced and growing organization with two locations.
  • Creating and maintaining healthy personal boundaries to effectively come alongside others.
  • Empowering team members with significant barriers to succeed in a 24/7, 3-shift operation.

MUST-HAVES

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimally three years of experience in coaching, counseling, or supporting individuals through transitions or individuals who have experienced significant barriers.
  • Strong writing and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a talent for establishing connections while upholding confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of community resources and support services.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Passion for promoting wellness and creating a supportive work environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to provide coverage and engage with all three shifts.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience working with reintegrating reformed citizens from prison into mainstream society.
  • Experience working with individuals in recovery, helping them to successfully navigate life sober.
  • Experience designing and implementing effective coaching programs for individuals.
  • Life Coach Certification.
  • Trauma-Informed Certified.
  • Mental Health First Aid Trained.
