The Director of Transforming Outcomes Project (Director) serves at the pleasure of the President with concurrence of the Dean of Undergraduate Studies. The Director assists the Dean in all aspects of administration of Transforming Outcomes Project (TOPSS). The role serves to ensure that all aspects of TOPSS are operating in accordance with the University mission and policies. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring students receive the highest quality education we can provide and support a timely degree completion program for each major in TOPSS. High impact practices in the areas of leadership, program development, student success, and faculty/staff development are central to this position. This position represents TOPSS to students, faculty, departments, University administration, the California Department of Corrections, the California Community Colleges, and the broader community.
The Director collaborates with the CCC to ensure delivery of courses that support CSUS degree programs. The Director acts as a liaison between the University and CDCR leadership and coordination of TOPSS curriculum, student success, and faculty and staff professional development efforts including budget oversight, grant development and internal funds. The Director is responsible for the staff and faculty personnel needs that are unique to TOPSS. Incumbent is responsible for diplomatically addressing and resolving inter-agency issues and concerns, serving as a liaison with University personnel responsible for admissions, financial aid, registration, involved colleges, student affairs, and faculty affairs.
FLSA: Exempt (not eligible for overtime compensation)
Anticipated Hiring Range: $4,583 per month - $8,500 per month, commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.
