I've called out to you Lord,
why won't you respond? How have I grieved you,
oh, how'd I break our bond? You've become my salvation,
my life belongs to you, for God has freely given,
what can never be withdrew. I've called out to you Lord,
won't you answer my pleas, as my faith, hope, and love,
continue to set me at ease. You've loved me my Savior,
as your word has shown, teaching and encouraging,
so I've never walked alone. I've called out to you Lord,
take heed of this prayer, as I seek your forgiveness,
your guidance and care. And I prayed in His name --
Jesus the Christ to receive, to Him be the glory --- now,
and forever is what I believe! I've called out to you Lord,
Blessings pour down like rain, soon there'll be no more sorrow,
there'll be no more pain. My Father was always with me,
through the storms through it all, I needed only to bow my head ---
and give Him a prayerful call.
This work was inspired by the journey that I am on and have been on for the last ten months in battling two types of cancer.
