“American Wavy Flag” was created using the ShopSabre CNC machine. The design was made on Aspire software. The idea for the piece came from a love of my country, the American flag, and the eagle for majesty as well as a story my father told me about seeing a bald eagle land in his yard not long after they were reintroduced into the wild in Alabama. The piece has slots on the top as well as the base that would allow for it to be a display for challenge coins. It’s made from mahogany and beech. Stars are raised and every other stripe is inset.
